After dissolving my gallery, my husband and I moved into one of the beautiful, spacious old flats the likes of which can still be found in Dresden’s so-called Prussian quarter. The beginnings of my art collection reach back as far as the early 1980s, when I worked for the Mannheimer Kunstverein, and I kept adding to it right unto the present day. Here, at our newly created home, the individual pieces can play out to their full potential. The ‚salon' is a place where I like to rearrange frequently in order to present new material.
Grit Dörre‘s shots capture my love for drawings and abstract painting as well as architecture-related sculpture especially well.
